Most patients arrive at their first hyperbaric session with the same two questions: What will it feel like? and What do I have to do? The honest answers: gentle pressure in your ears, and almost nothing.
You'll change into comfortable 100% cotton garments we provide, and our technician will run through a short safety checklist. No lighters, electronics, lotions, or petroleum products go into the chamber — pure oxygen demands strict fire-safety discipline, and we follow it to the letter.
You lie on a cushioned bed that slides into a transparent acrylic chamber. As pressurization begins, you'll feel fullness in your ears — exactly like a plane descending. We coach you through easy equalization techniques, and we pressurize slowly. Once at depth, there's nothing to do: nap, watch a show on the screen outside the chamber, or just rest. A technician stays with you the entire 90 minutes and you can talk to them anytime.
The chamber depressurizes gradually, you change, and you're free to drive and go about your day. Some patients feel pleasantly relaxed; many report sleeping better. With a typical course of 30–40 sessions, the routine becomes second nature within a week.
Curious? Call or text (831) 555-0100 — we're happy to give you a tour of the chamber before you ever book.
